Gertrude, either way...

It's your interp! This is one of those wonderful little things that Shakespeare left us to decide on our own. I'd make your decision by first determining what Gertrude's motives are. She probably did love Hamlet Sr., because if there were marital problems, surely Hamlet would have known. And yet, brothers can be pretty similar, perhaps Hamlet Sr. was too busy running the county so Claudius stepped in. I doubt that Gertrude knew that Claudius had killed her husband, but perhaps she suspected? Did she accept what had happened and go on with her life, or was she really ignorant? If you view the BBC and Mel Gibson versions, you'll see to very distinct interpretations. I think you can make a strong case either way!
