Changes in Macbeth

My essay question is this: "How do Macbeth and Lady M. chang between Act 1 and Act 3"
I think that in the beginning, the two are essentially ambitious, good people. However, the witches prophecy cause Lady M. to turn to evil to accomplish her goal of becoming queen, while Macbeth is ambitious but not interested in doing evil. Later, Macbeth desires the throne so bad that he murders Duncan. Later still, Macbeth and Lady M. both realize that the foul play wasn't worth t, but still have to do worse deads to prevent from having their original sins discovered.
Will you let me know if I'm on the right track, as well as nay examples or different opinions ASAP.
Thank you very much
