HAMLET - THE IDEA OF VENGEANCE/JUSTICE

Okay, here's the deal. I wanted to know if you thought Hamlet needed
to kill in order to seek vengeance or justice? (I don't think so.) I
just need some evidence from text to support that.
Also, was Hamlet's test for Claudius necessary? Because I thought it
did more harm than good to him. What do you think?
