Good question

That is only the subject that people have been debating for 400 years. The dozens of proposed answers generally fall into two groups: there's something wrong with him, or there's something too right with him. The first group includes he's irresolute, he's too hung up on this mother, he's melancholic, he's a thinker not a doer, etc. The second group say he has some admirable qualities that just make him the wrong man for this particular job at this particular moment: he's too intellectual, too moral, too seeing-both-sides-of-the-issue, too cautious, etc. Ya pays yer money an' ya takes yer choice.
