Orsino

Generally played as a man in love with the idea of being in love, who has to be taught what real emotion is through his conversations with Viola. The homosexual reading is a red herring. A special bond does develop between Orsino and Viola-as-Cesario. But S and his culture would see that as male-bonding, not sexual.
