Branagh is superstitious, too

My former English teacher (who taught me Macbeth in 9th grade) says that the "Scottish play" bit is used by those who have ever acted in or been on the crew for any production of Macbeth, amateur to professional. He also mentioned the other day that he was watching an interview with Kenneth Branagh and Mr. Branagh referred to "the Scottish play" as if he had never even heard its real name.
