Also, Hamlet hears Claudius repenting...at that point, isn't the timing off? He remarks that now, Claudius is pure and free of sin - he will have to wait until he has sinned again or killing him will only send his soul to Heaven. It seems that Hamlet is certain that Claudius will sin again very shortly...
