REPENTING!?

Hamlet does not hear Claudius repenting.
He just sees Claudius kneeling as though in prayer
and assumes he is repenting.
If Hamlet could have heard Claudius then he would have gladly
killed him without any worries about heaven accepting him.
Claudius is at that moment lamenting the fact that he cannot
truely repent and heaven will not hear his words!
