HAMLET'S RATIONALIZATION

I was just curious if you thought Hamlet's test for Claudius was a
rationalization or not. I don't understand why Hamlet was so sluggish
and so afraid to seek vengeance against Claudius when he knew he was the
one who killed his father.

Please help... THANX.
