MOTHERS in Bill's Plays, both present and absent

I'm working on a term paper with the above topic. I need help
finding resources. I've begun by analyzing such characters as
Gertrude, Lady MacDuff, Sycorax, R&J's mothers, et. cetera...

I also want to look at Lady MacBeth and other supposedly
non-mothers. Then I'd like to move on to such plays as Lear, the
comedies, The Tempest...

My question is: Why doesn't WS explore mother/child relationships
as thouroughly as he does father/child relationships? And where
can I find solid resources?

I have only a few more days... please help me...
