Was Shakespeare a racist?

Looking at Othello and Merchant of Venice, one might think
that the Bard himself hated Jews, blacks (and indeed women).

If you're familiar with this topic, let me know what you think.
(Also, Thomas Heywood wasn't exactly forgiving of women and
"their ways" in "A Woman Killed with Kindness" as well as
Thomas Middleton in "A Trick to catch the old one." I'd love any
response from someone who has read any of the above.)
